Shout outs

This world is a fast paced one. All too often, good deeds go unnoticed. I wanted a page to share my thanks and give a shout out to businesses, products and people that have been influential to Stealth Riders, both on and off the bike. Think of it like an ‘Enduro Yellow Pages’ (or Stealth Pages, perhaps?).. the ones that have helped me, may be able to help you too!

Stealth Riders wouldn’t exist without Bird Cycleworks. Since picking up their full suspension Aeris in July 2015, I’ve reignited my passion with cycling, grown in confidence on the bike and felt comfortable enough to get involved in racing. Although they’re a small team, Bird provide world class service that matches the quality of their bikes. Their website is right here.

Again, without the encouragement of Tristan and the hubdudes, Stealth Riders wouldn’t have happened. From regular social night rides, to banging BBQ events, bike demos and general all-round awesome words of encouragement, the bike hub have been a massive help to me and many others. Truly a top bunch of people. Visit their website here.

If you want to keep a fresh face in the worst of weathers, I can highly recommend the Mudhugger guards. They offer incredible protection from the elements for both front and rear tyres, at incredible value. If it’s good enough for Loic Bruni and many other pros, it’s good enough for me. I run a cut down FR version, but their full range is here.

Big Mac Photography is by far one of my favourite sports photographers, who captures the true essence of mountain biking. Dave manages to get shots at angles other photographers wouldn’t think of, making everbody look amazing. He also does a wealth of other shots. If you want some incredible shots to immortalise your greatest moments, get in touch with him here.

Scott Fitzgerald and the Southern Enduro team have organised a stunning race series that offers such a feel-good vibe on the day. Even as a first year, unsponsored newbie to racing, Scott and the team have been incredibly welcoming and supportive, making it feel like I’ve been around for ages. They build some killer trails too, if you’re interested. Check their site out here.

If you want to bring your brand to life, look no further than Luna Studio. Emily and her studio team are exceptionally friendly yet super professional, and can work some serious magic to make you stand out from the crowd. Luna work with some huge clients (and me!), I guarantee you’ll be happy with what they can offer you. Check them out here.

If you’re looking for some insanely good photography, look no further than Jane. She specialises in pet photography and takes incredible pictures of some beautiful pets,  but also does sports, newborn and anything else you may be after. Not only is she my aunt, she is a bloody nice person and offers a friendly and professional service at superb rates. Got a trail hound? If so, check her out and get her booked here.

Not so much a shout out related to Stealth Riders, but just because it’s a beautiful website by my brother that deserves a mention. I love Poland and try to visit as much as I can. My bro has lived there for over 5 years now, and is married to a great girl. He’s pretty near the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane too, so I do plan on taking the bike over to sample some Polish trails soon. Niesamowite! Check out his site here.

If you need a bespoke bathroom designed and built on time to exceptionally high standards, look no further than CJL Plumbing & Bathroom Design. I ride with the company owner Chris regularly, and he’s not just a thoroughly nice bloke and awesome trail shredder, he takes extreme pride in his work, ensuring you are guaranteed to be pleased with the end result. Seriously nice stuff, check it out here.

I love my bikes, I love my beard. It keeps me from looking like a grey haired child, hides my bum chin nicely and keeps me toasty in the Winter. Bicycles & Beards as a brand is perfect for me! They stock some cool tees, badges, stickers and hats on their shop here, and you can also check out their Instagram (featuring yours truly) here.

More to follow soon!
